We Tigers

I have just gotten back from housesitting. It was nice, albeit I spent the majority of my time on my lonesome, singing in the comfort (or rather discomfort) of my own presence, or running my hands through the fur of an over-sized cat. I got some drawings done. I texted Samora and asked him to give me a word, and after 4 times of him saying something outrageous, he said wolf. So I drew him some quick sketches of wolves in the artbook he gave me for Christmas.

On Monday some friends from school and I went on a road trip to Le Bons bay. It was hot when we set off. Not so much when we got there and sat on the beach in the rain. Then we went around to Rachels to consume unhealthy amounts of alcohol, as seen in the following photo, watched The Wall. Dear god.

The week beforehand much of the same people went to a picnic in the gardens. It was mean, we played petanque and ate in the sunshine. I got a pretty boss onesie on Boxing Day. Check it.

And then after the picnic a few of the children came back to mine, we got out of it and watched Fantasia. It was fantastic. Phenomenal. Out of this world. High as a kite.

It was my mothers 50th on New Years Eve, so my sister, mother, grandmother and I went out to the beach to have fish and chips. It was really nice, despite my deep dislike for the ocean/sea/deep dark ambiguous waters. There were seagulls there that made me more tolerating of my surroundings. I bought extra chips to feed to them. Grandma looks like she has had a few too many gins and passed out on the beach. I wouldn't put it past her.

And I went back to Mikes to play with his puppies which have gotten a whole lot cuter now they can walk.

I am off to read the rest of Lolita so that I can move onto reading Oscar Wilde's children stories.
Favourite books, what are yours?

i keep reading really depressing books about the inequality of women worldwide (which is good to know, yes, but gives me nightmares) and books about posthumanism and cyborgs. i want to read oscar wilde's children stories. what is the title of that volume?

  10. Omygod puppies. I want puppies. I want a lot of fluffy and cute puppies.

And I want to look for crabs, I love doing that. Do you have any idea how cold it is here? I'm so jealous. And the lipstickphoto made me laugh. Do you like how I'm writing this comment in a totally random way? I love your floweryness! And I totally agree with Greer, although I might have made that clear already. Your drawings are beautiful! And your sunglasses are the best.

    My favourite books:
Extremely loud and incredibly close - Jonathan Saffran Foer
    Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami
But any of the books written by these two writers should be good.
